All of our hand-painted candles are made from 100% beeswax, hand-dipped in Maine.

Unless specified during your order, most of our candles are “13 inch dripless tapers with a 10.5 hour burn time. 

An old bus driver with a car full of rowdy teenagers once said, “Light ‘em if you got em, just don’t burn the seats (or in this case tablecloths).  Mystic by Esme candles are meant to light up the room and be enjoyed.  Most designs allow for a 1 hour burn time before reaching the design.  The paint will burn along with the wax and in the process, teaching us impermanence is a beautiful thing.

All candles are painted with water-based, non-toxic paint.  As with any burning candle, please take care in burning in a well ventilated room and keep away from pets and children. Candles should be carefully secured in a candle holder and kept on a sturdy surface. Never leave burning candles unattended. Remove excess wax with a candle wick trimmer, to preserve your candles for repeated use.
